Meet Ms. Jones, Affectionately Known as Mizzschoolteacher

A dedicated educator turned storyteller, I begin each day greeting my students as "dear, gifted, and talented ones"—reflecting my unwavering belief that every person has something extraordinary to offer the world.

My Journey

My passion for transforming young minds has earned me recognition as Teacher of the Year, district finalist for Elementary Teacher of the Year, and recipient of the prestigious American Star of Teaching Award from the U.S. Department of Education.

Currently serving as an Instructional Coach, I support fellow educators while crafting stories that explore the complexities of human nature with the same insight and compassion I've brought to decades in the classroom.

From Challenge to Purpose

As a breast cancer survivor, I discovered that resilience doesn't just carry you through challenges—it transforms them into a deeper purpose. That same strength now infuses both my teaching and my storytelling.

What's Next

I'm embracing my most exciting chapter yet: author and storyteller. Drawing from rich experiences in education, leadership, and life's unexpected turns, I create stories that illuminate the extraordinary in every human experience.

When I'm not in the classroom or writing, you'll find me staying active, traveling to new destinations, and gathering inspiration for the stories yet to be told.
